Garlic Mushroom Rigatoni
Ingredients:
2 cloves garlic
1 large tomato
2 cans of regular pasta sauce (or if you desire, any flavored pasta sauce)
20-30 mushrooms (small)
1 large onion
2 teaspoons salt
½ teaspoon red chili pepper (optional)
2 cups cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
1/8 cup olive oil
5-7 cups rigatoni pasta
Instructions:
-
cook pasta in boiling water (add a bit of salt to the water); drain
water when cooked

in cooking pan (non-stick preferable), heat oil (medium heat) and
add chopped garlic, diced onion, and halved mushrooms.

add pasta sauce and chopped tomato when garlic, onion and mushrooms
are light brown
-
add salt and red chili pepper
-
add strained rigatoni when sauce is well heated
-
place entire contents in flat oven dish with cheese sprinkled over
top
-
broil until cheese is brown
