Tandoori Tofu
Ingredients:
1-2 packages of extra firm tofu (low fat if desired)
1-2 tablespoons of tandoori powder
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon red chili pepper
2 tablespoons of lemon juice
1/8 cup olive oil
1 onion
1 clove garlic
Instructions:

cut tofu into small squares
-
heat (medium) olive oil in cooking pan (non-stick preferred)

heat tofu on medium heat until light brown and a bit firmer

add tandoori powder (1 or 2 tablespoons depending on how many packages
of tofu you are using), salt, red chili pepper
-
can add diced onion and chopped garlic at this time if wanted.

stir on medium heat until tandoori powder blends in
-
add lemon juice
-
stir for a few more minutes
